MISSION STATEMENT:

TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF

MICHAEL GARBO

The Michael Garbo Foundation was founded in honor of fallen Drug Enforcement Administration Group Supervisor (GS) Michael G. Garbo after he honorably gave his life on October 4, 2021, protecting civilians from crime, danger, and the mass distribution of illicit drugs.

Our mission is to spread awareness of the risks of distributing illegal substances to minimize such activities to protect our families, children, and the American people. We will also continue to fight to increase security on trains, buses, and other forms of transportation, just as Special Agent Garbo did throughout his career. Furthermore, the Michael Garbo Foundation will also seek out individuals and organizations in need of financial assistance and provide them with resources or funds needed to carry on the ultimate goal and legacy of DEA GS Michael Garbo.

Michael “Mike” Garbo’s passion, talents, and goals will never be forgotten and will be remembered and honored through the work provided by this foundation.
